But: we are trying to configure Outlook so that we can send emails to a
"distribution list" in Outlook, but in such a way as to "hide" all the names
and email addresses from all recipients.

I have been unable to set this up using settings.  The only thing others
have suggested is to send the email To: the postmaster@theemailhostsite, and
to blind copy using the distribution list name.

Is there a maximun number of BCCs that can be successfully sent through SPAM
filters?

Or if you know of another solution altogether, let me know

Ask your mail host provider. It's their limit that counts.
