Multiple Contact Lists and E-mail

I am running Outlook 2000 (SR-1) and have multiple contact lists I need to be
able to access for e-mail addresses. Both have been selected as "e-mail
address" books in the Properties window. However, only the default Contacts
list is accessed when there are multiple entries for similar names/e-mail
addresses. If default contacts contains "Cheryl Kilts (Home)" and auxiliary
contacts contains "Cheryl Kilts", for example, only the default contacts list
entry is selected (the email addresses in question both begin with "ckilts").
Is there any way to fix this so that both contacts lists are accessed?

Thank you!

You did not post enough version information. Outlook 2000 exists in 2
completely different mail support modes. If you are using Internet Mail Only
mode then you have a simplified version that will not support this function.
