I have a client with a HUGE contacts folder and when she searches for one
with the correct name, she receives and error saying unable to locate
contact, but if you browse to it, it's there. She is also having a problem
emailing vCards to others - either the email address or the phone number will
drop out. Is this an issue with the size of the contacts folder, or another
problem?

Probably not. More likely an end user problem. Without the precise steps
used and the type of search, we can't possibly guess.
