Lost Contacts when convert to Outlook 2003

We have everything on exchange 2000  no local pab or pst files, I recently
got a new machine with Outlook 2003 sp1 (office 2003) on it, I used to have
outlook 2002 now when I open my contacts a few of them do not show up, but
they do show up in the older version on other mahines and in OWA on the
internet

any thoughts ??

If you switch to a Category view do they show up then?
