I am constantly adding names to my datebase so I need to conduct a new merge
everytime I would like to do mailings but there are certain people that I
never mail to. Is there a way to permanately exclude them so I dont have to
delete them one-by-one everytime? Thanks in advance!

Why don't you use Contact Subfolders or Categories to segregate your
Contacts into those to which you want to merge and those you don't?

Russ,

Thanks for the idea, I think the categories may be the only way for me to do
it. The subfolders don't work because when I want to update someone's contact
info, I need to update all of them individually.
