I need to automatically see incoming email addresses in Outlook 20

Why is it so difficult to display the full email address, instead of a
possible fictitious "nickname", in Outlook 2003?

In my opinion this would make determining spam from valid email so much
easier - instead we are forced to spend more money on goofy spam filters,
that many times delete valid email!

If you right-click on an address in an open email and choose Outlook
Properties you'll see the email address. If you right click on an item in
your folders and choose Options you can see the full Internet header. You
can still hide info based on the info the sender gave their mail server,
though, so it's not always easy

Thanks for the reply, although I was already aware of this. I realize this
is a "community" board, but it still amazes me MS did not include this as
something simple as a radio button or option menu to function automatically.

I can pick out a "spam" email address far faster than reading the usual
silly subject lines. Seems to make too much sense rather than forcing me to
spend almost five minutes looking at each and every line sometimes guessing
if it is something I should even click on. Worse yet, I have to use the
unintuitive "Rules" and alerts function. Nice job MS making the list box
soooo darn small, and better yet I just realized I can type in the same word
ten times, and it will take all ten instances! Additionally the darn thing
doesn't work automatically - I have to open the folder and then initiate the
function.

Holy smokes. Seems MS wants spam in order to serve some higher agenda.

This seems like an odd comment to me since
1. The sender's address format in the From field is controlled primarily by
the sender not the recipient.
2. Outlook 2003's Junk Mail Filters have rendered the need to manually
recognize spam obsolete. I almost never see spam in Outlook 2003 unless I
open my Junk Mail Folder.
