MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / June 2005Moving copy of contacts to new compture
I used the instructions in help (ha011053931033.aspx). When I try to copy the file (backup file) to disc I get an error. It says an error occured do you want to retry or cancel. I t won't work. How to I simply make a copy of all contacts that I can use on new computer List all the steps you used more clearly. Be sure you include how you created this file and moved it to a CD. When I go through the part to import and select drive e where ther CD is I get message saying "file access denied you do not have permission requies to access file. > List all the steps you used more clearly. You aren't following the direction is the article at all. You cannot access a PST file on a CD. You must have read/write access to a PST file.
