Reconcile variances in a public & personal contact folders

Is there a way to electronically reconcile variances between a public contact
folder and personal contact folders?

you mean to look for difference and update them? I think some of the
duplicate checkers can do this.
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/contacts.htm#dupes - I think the paid
version of the scrubber utility supports multiple folders.
