I have my default sort option set to sort contacts by Company Name, but for
some reason, every time I import a file, it automatically sorts & files the
contact by contact Name. There are over a thousand contacts so it would take
me ages to sort them all individually. Is there a quick way to do this? I'm
using Outlook 2002 on XP.

Thanks for your help.

Your settings will not apply to Contacts you import. In what format are
these Contacts you are importing?
To what view are you referring?
