I want to send an entire category with a large number of contacts to another
person so she can send this group an email (I haven't tried to do a
distribtion list because Outlook won't let me do that from a category). What
would be the best way to do that?

Thanks in advance for any help.

One way would be to create a new PST, with a new Contacts folder in that
PST, group your Contacts by category, select the entore category you wish to
transfer, right-click the selection, and choose copy.  When the copy
completes, close the second PST (right-click>Close), stop, and restart
Outlook.  Now mail the PST or transfer it in some other way to the person.
They can open it on their machine with File>Open>Outlook Data File and
either use the Contacts folder it contains in-place or copy the contacts to
their own Contacts folder.
