I have a user who is trying to edit an existing distribution list by removing
a few names and then saving as a different name and it will not let her do
it.  I tried myself and it saves the thing as an *.rtf file.  There is no
save as feature.  Copying and pasting the members of the lists and save as
also cannot be done.  Suggestions?

The only way you can save a DL under a different name is by saving it to a
different Folder (hint: use the Copy to Folder... command).

Copy the DL to another identically named DL by selecting the DL and clicking
Edit>Copy to Folder.  Specify the Contacts folder (i.e., the same folder
it's in) and click OK.  You'll now have two identical, identically named
DLs.  Open one of them, remove the names, change the DL name in the Name
field, and click Save and Close.  You'll now have the original DL and
another with a different name that contains fewer members.  It works, at
least in OL 2003, because I just tried it.
