Outlook 2003.

I recently reorganized my address folders under the contacts.  What I
did was this:
a) Created several new folders
b) Moved addresses from the old folders to the new folders.
c) Deleted the old folders
d) Removed the folders from the Outlook address book (Tools, Email
Accounts, Change/remove folders, etc).

Everything worked just fine... except...

There was one folder I did not touch.  When I send an email I can
select this folder for addresses just fine.  I can also add an address
to it by selecting the 'Advanced' button on the 'Select Names' dialog
that shows up.

However, this folder is not visible at all when I go to contacts or use
Go/Display Folders.  It is like it aint there... except it is.

Solutions appreciated.

Use Folder view to examine your entire folder hierarchy. Then you'll see
where you misplaced it.
