When you open Global Contacts thereb is a large text field into which you can
store notes ccommenst links and all kinds of relevant data to that contact.
We wish to store link to MultiMap so we can see the location of the contact
using the postcode. We are happy to edit the link at contact creation time
but would like the core test for a home locationa nd a business location to
be there ready to edit. The master template for this text area must exist
somewhere and we would like to know where it is and how to edit it as the
default in Global contacts for all Exchange users who have access to Global
Contacts. Can you help?

What is Global Contacts? A public folder? An address list in the GAL?

Hi Sue, Global contact is standard part of the Microsoft Outlook and Exchange
provision that comes with Office Pro. It is version of Contacts that is
available to all users on the same exchange server. We use it as our main
compay wide contacts database for all suppliers, customers and contacts that
are relating to our business activities. It is not part of the Global Address
List. It is part of the Public Folders Set.  Hope this helps?

In that case, you could create a new custom contact form, publish it to that folder, and make the changes necessary to have all items in that folder use it. See:
