how can I save outlook contacts to disk

I would like my email address book saved to a disk in case of a computer
crash and I can't seem to find this answer anywhere (it would seem like many
other people would like to know that info).  I am really a very simplistic
person so help, please, in extremely first-grade language!  Thanks.

You haven't looked well, because this same question has been answered many
times here.  Your Contacts are in your PST along with all your other Outlook
data like Calendar, E-mail, Tasks, and so on.  Just make a copy of your PST
file (with Outlook closed).  A more complete description can be found at
