Is it possible to automatically cc an assistant when sending an e-mail to a
contact - or to link the record for an assistant to its main contact?

I have a group to whom I regularly send e-mails - and several have asked
that I also send cc's of correspondence to their exec. assistant.

Is there a way to do so automatically using the "assistant" field within the
main contact vs. creating a whole new contact for the assistant and having to
remember to update both records and any associated distribution groups when
there are changes?

Thanks!

You can add a rule to Outlook to Cc someone when you are sending to a particuliar address. There's nothing to do this for you automatically.
