Like versions of both programs and the installation path you used when
installing them.
And what you mean by "selection mail merge feature."
Mail merges and email editors are two completely different functions.

Sorry about that.
I have Word 2003 and Outlook 2002. I have been trying to do a mail merge
and it comes back with the response to purchase a version of Word that is
compatible with this feature. I tried to activate the feature in the options
menu and found that it was not highlighted so I checked in my Frontpage
options and nothing indicated that it could be blocking the feature but then
I am not sure of what I am looking for with Frontpage features.
The install was done from CD to the hard drive C: as a default setup with
the parameters suggested by the software.

Word and Outlook versions (Office versions for that matter) must match for
the Office Automation features to work.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
