Hello,

We have an office of 20+ users on Outlook XP without Exhange. I'm in charge
of forwarding new contacts (v-cards) to other users via email. Previously,
users were able to open the attached v-card, click save and close, and the
contact would be in their contacts folder. Now that option doesn't work.
Users have to manually click-hold-drag the v-card to their contacts folder.
Does anyone know why this maybe happening and how we can fix it. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sounds like you're sending not vCards -- i.e. .vcf files -- but actual Outlook contact items. Each works differently, in the manner you describe.

Can you use the File menu > Move to folder or File menu > Copy to Folder
commands when you open a vCard? Also, are vCards opening in Outlook or might
the association have changed for VCF files
