Hi all

Please help me.... This is driving me absolutely batty!!

I have addresses saved in outlook generally, under no special address book.
I'd like to delete some of those email addresses but cannot find them under
anywhere or anything.
If I start typing the address, the name comes up but the address book is
empty.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to solve this?

Many thanks

Sounds like the addresses are coming from the auto-complete list. When an
address you want to delete shows up in an auto-complete dropdown highlight
it and hit the Delete key

Are you also able to tell me how to turn the auto-complete off please?

Check here: Tools menu > Options > E-mail Options > Advanced E-mail options >
Uncheck "Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and BCC fields"
