When I try to export my contacts list and choose a csv file (or any typr of
file for that matter) contacts is not in the list of folders to select from.
The only choices I have a a few of the Outlook Data Files I have. How can I
get to the contacts folder?

I am not able to reproduce your problem in Outlook 2003 on my machine.
Please list the exact steps you are taking to try to export to a .CSV file.

OK,

File -  Import and Export (brings up Import and Export Wizard)
Choose  Export to File
hit next
Choose Comma Seperated Values (Windows)
hit next
Then the only choices I have are 9 Data files (9 out of the 20 I have)
