I've never found a satisfactory answer to the difference between Contacts and
the Address bk but i gatherit's better to use Contacts. However how do I
search for a phone no? I can search for a name but not a number. I used to be
able to do it in my address book and with over 1000entries I need to be able
to search! Thanks

Lets say that the address book is just a convenient one stop container where
all the different address types hang out, for instance my address book shows
my contact folders, my Global address list and my public folder contacts. I
would be interested to know how you used the Find function of the Address
Book to locate a phone number, anyhow the add-in Lookout will index items
with phone numbers for more on lookout check
