How do I delete a contact from one group without deleting it from

I am creating a folder with contacts for a bulk e-mail message. I have some
contacts listed with other groups and want to include them with this one.
However, I want this list to be separate from the other groups that I have,
and when I am finished with this list I want to delete the list. But if I
delete this list, Outlook deletes the name from all other lists that the name
is on. How do I stop this?

What exactly do you mean when you use the term "group" in this case?
