Hi,
In Outlook 2000, I have quite a number of private categories assigned to the
1000+ contacts in my Contacts folder. When I hit the categories button to
assign a category to a particular name, my private categories don't appear.
How can I roll my private categories into the Master list?

After you click on the Categories button, click on the Master Category
List button, type the new category that you wish to add, then click on
the Add button. I think that you might be able to add a number of them
at once, but it would be wise to test that and not to try to add more
than, say, 10 at once.

I should have mentioned that I operate in a stand-alone Outlook 2002
environment. If you are operating in Exchange, see your administrator.
