contacts are listed twice in drop down list

I have two or more listings for each contact that has two
or more phone numbers or e-mail addresses in the drop
down list when I switch between our Global Address List
and Contacts. Is there any way to have the contact list
only once? They are only show once in the actual Contact
folder.

no. It is pperating as intended. Each electronic address
should be listed separately. That's what makes the
Outlook Address Book useful.
