What version of Outlook are you using? The option to suggest names is in
OL2003 (and if I remember right OL2002) is here: Tools menu > Options >
Email > Advanced

> Outlook. His will not bring up a list of possible contacts.
That's because this feature has nothing to do with Contacts. What it shows
are those addresses to which you (or he) has written already. Up to 1,000
resolved addresses are retained independently of your contacts.

For Outlook 2002/2003, click Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail
Options. Put a check by "Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc
fields"
