I have a peer to peer network with clients running XP Pro and Office 2003. I
need to be able to have a shared contacts file as well as maintain the
so-called "My Contacts" list for each individual computer.
I've been unable to locate a KB documenting how to create and share a
contacts file that references a peer to peer network. All KB's I've found so
far indicate that an Exchange Server is required.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Outlook can't share its files directly. See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011477571033.aspx for an article by Outlook MVP Eric Legault on various ways to share Outlook data. YOu'll also find a list of third-party sharing tools and other information at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm.

Hey Sue,

Thanks for the quick feedback. I had seen the article by Eric before
posting. But it too indicated the use of exchange. Guess we'll need to go the
VCard route like Eric documents. Maybe we'll get to an SBS system in the
future.

Again, thanks for the fast response.
