Is there any way to force the auto-complete for e-mail addresses (When
entering a To: address) to use ONLY my contacts list?
Cheers

I don't think so. The cache will also included hand typed addresses

Dave,
Are you familiar with autoresolution? That is essentially what
autocompletion using your contacts is. You invoke it by typing a few
characters into your To: line then pressing Ctrl + K.
Autocompletion is a totally different function.
Assuming your using OL 2002 or 2003, you may want to read: the document

you can disable the autocomplete cache and only use autoresolution but you
can't prevent all addresses you reply to from being stored in the
autocomplete cache.

Thanks for the replies.
I do know about auto-resolution, but was hoping that I could have the
convenience of auto-complete without the hassle of it using the cache of
every address I have ever sent to, most of which I no need to ever send
another e-mail to (e.g. when answering a one-off support call)

Why not just delete the ones you no longer want?

I reply to lots of e-mails, send lot's of e-mails, I would be deleting stuff
all the time. It's less hassle to just ignore that feature altogether.
