Where are "Contacts" actually stored when using Outlook 2003 with Microsoft
Exchange Server

If you're using your mailbox as your data store, they're stored on the
Exchange Server (and possibly in your Offline Folders file).

Thanks for the reply, but if they are stored on the Exchange Server, where
exactly would they be stored?  Are they in a file that could have been
deleted that I could restore from a backup? If they are in an Offline folder,
then same question.  What file?

I think the Exchange Server's data is in an EDB file on the server but that
contains everyone's data not just one person's contacts.

The offline folders file would be a file with a .OST extension
