Outlook 2000 won't send to groups

I use Outlook 2000 and have good experience until recently. I began using a
group distribution list for e-mails to a large number of clients and found
that it doesn't work. If I send them out in either the Cc: or Bcc: field
(whether displayed or hidden) as sent to the group it won't leave the outbox
and it is NOT italisized. However, if I send it to them individually in
either field as a collection of individuals (one mass mailing copied to all
of them) it will go out fine.

That will become a real problem as the group gets bigger.

I've had the software detect and fix problems but no change. I've check all
through the Microsoft website and found nothing. I've not heard of this type
of problem before. I hope one of you has.

Thanks for your help.

All the time. DL's are very fragile and unreliable. Few of us use them.
Use another method for group mailing, such as mail merge.
Or use another method for grouping Contacts, such as Categories or separate
Contact subfolders.
