When I import contacts from a Outlook 2003 pst file into a Outlook 2003
mailbox on Exchange 2003 all of the contacts are imported but there is a
large distribution list with about 250 recipients that gets imported then
dissapears.  I can even open the
distribution list once imported and see the recipients but as soon as I close
it, it is gone.  One time I did get some error message about mailbox size but
there is no way this list will exceed the size limits.  I even tried bumping
up mailbox size limits on Exchange server with same results.  Any ideas???

You will see countless posts here that verify that DL's will not survive
importing. That's one of the many reasons few of us use them.
Importing is always a poor choice for transferring Outlook data. Why not
open the PST file and copy the Contacts?
