Is there a way to restore Contacts in Outlook after a
users profile has been removed/renewed? This user has
never backed up their PST and we are not using Exchange.
We are using Outlook just as a e-mail client.

Thanks!

If you have the original outlook.pst file under the original user. Then you
can map to that. (dependent upon security settings)
Open Outlook
Tools -> Email Accounts -> View or change existing account.-> Next -> Select
the account you want . -> New Outlook Data Folder -> add -> Say OK ->
Navigate to the folder you want. -> OK
If you want this to be the default mail folder after it synchronizes. Select
it from the drop down list beside "New outlook data folder".
Acknowledge the warning. Close outlook. Reopen outlook.
You will have to reconnect the contacts When Outlook reopens. Right click on
contacts. Select properties. Select the Outlook address book tab and select
the box "show this folder as an email address book."
