I keep all my information in Microsoft Outlook, and I have confidential data
that I have to access regularly stored in a contact.  I am concerned that
someone could have access to this information if I lose my synchronized PDA
or they somehow access my desktop.

Therefore I would like to have the ability to password protect individual
contacts, to safeguard this confidential information.

Password-protect your desktop and PDA instead.
