Link Between Distribution list and Contacts broken

HELP!!

When I press UPDATE NOW, outlook cannot find or locate the Contacts in
the Contacts folder and it converts the member entries into SMPT
contacts.

Anyone with knowledge on this?????

Not really. AFAIK, it's never worked.
I've never seen anyone report that the "Update Now" button does anything
it's supposed to.
