If I receive an e-mail from a co-worker who inserted a distribution list, how
can I import this file (the complete list) in my personal adress book?  note:
we're working on a network with windows 2000 and outlook 2000 sr1

the goal is to send mails trough this distribution list like my co-worker is
doing whitout having to enter each adress seperately.  also the help function
is telling me to import from the global adress list on wich we have many
mailing lists but however not the one my co-worker is sending; and I don't
want to put it there because otherwise the whole company would have access to
it and it is only for purpose of our section.  thanks in advance

You should be able to drag it to your Contacts folder.
