MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / October 2005Custom Global Address List
Hi! Concerning Outlook 2002/XP and Exchange 2000 server. I need to make the default selection for the field "Show names from" in the "To" selection box differ from "Global Address List" to another Custom Address List. Is this possible? I don't want to change the Global Address List - just change the Default selection. If it's possible to do from within the User GPO in AD it would be fine - then it would be possible to select the right Address List be default depending of witch group the user belong to in the AD. Yes I have checked the "normal" adm template - I'm wondering if there is any other template or maybe some other trick to manipulate the reg. db. to set the default Address list.
