MS Office Forum / Outlook / Contacts / September 2005How can distribution lists automatically update email address cha.
When I update email addresses, the distributions lists that address is in do not update automatically or even when I press update; I have to remove the old one and go in and add the new address -- and then I have to find it under the person's first name, even though the default is the Organization, then Last, then First. Is my software defective, is there a patch, or what can I do? Thanks! As far as I know this feature has never worked and I know of no plans to fix it. Very few of us use DL's because they are so unreliable and featureless. He said the Update Now button didn't work. SignatureBrian Tillman Most users just give up on DL's and use separate Contact subfolders or categories to group Contacts.
