All contacts are not shown when creating a distribution list

MSOFFICE Student and Teacher Edition

I want to set up a group of contacts in a distribution list. When I try to
select the contacts to be included, only those contacts with fax numbers are
available for selection. Strange.

Do your contacts have email addresses?
