They are stored in a file with a pst extension, this can be opened in
Outlook via the File || Open command, note this file could also be hidden
and you need to turn on show hidden files and folders from the View menu of
Folder Options in the Control Panel.

Ok so I looked for them and still could not find them. Sho hidden files was
already selected. Do you have any other ideas to where it might be hidden.
Maybe it is in another file besides the designated for outlook.

All the Outlook items like emails and contacts are stored within the pst
file, the location for the pst file is typically in your user profile under
Document and Settings, if you are using Search in Windows XP you need to go
into the Advanced Options of search and check "Search hidden files and
folders". Here is a listing of typical locations
