window offers first name selections

Sorry for repost, thought I has solved this.
How can I reset the access to contacts file to last names.
Now accessing by first names
Have sort set for last names, have view set for last names

Relocated PST file to new computer, same versions of all software, O/L 2002-
SP3

Help appreciated.

You need to clarify what you mean. At the very least tell us to what view
you are referring and what you've tried so far.

Sorry for lack of clarity
with New message up,
selection window for recipients showed sort by first name.

Solved with help of Diane P (MVP)
tools accounts view or change
had already tried
tools options preferences contact options and
view current customize
