How do I automatically update a distribution list?

I would like to know if there is a setting that can be set to do something.
I have a distribution list, the contacts emails on that list change all the
time.  I am able to save the email changes under the address book, but when I
go to send out an email on a distribution list the emails have not been
changed (I know there is an option to update the distribution list manually,
but I would like to save some time; it seems that it should do it
automatically anyway)  Is there an area in options that I can goto and make
sure this is done?  Am I alone here?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Did you try the Update Now button?
Did it work?
It's supposed to work. I'll be it didn't. I bet you didn't read any of the
other posts here either that would tell you that.

I am well aware of the Update Now button.   I'm just wondering why the lists
are not updated automatically when you change the information for the
contacts (ie: email).  I'm just looking for a option (in Options for Outlook)
that a person can check that will turn the automatic update feature on (if
there is such an option).  Can you direct me to some of the other postings on
the subject, or at least give me some keywords to search for (all I have
tried haven't brought up anything)?

Thanks.

There is no option to update DL's automatically.
Moreover, the manual Update Now button practically never works. That's what
all of the other posts in this group say. To search this group you'll need
to use a competent Search Engine, like Google. Searching through something
like OE is worthless.
