Diane - Thank you for your response... I did try this and the circle with the
line through it showed up disallowing the drag and drop.  I even tried it
with the Contacts area.  The worst thing for me is I did it at one point
somehow and when I click on Contacts it showed up under Other Contacts.  I
even went into the properties of the folder and clicked the botton that says
Add folder address to under Administration.  Additionally, under
Administration Drag/Drop posting is a Move/Copy.  I am owner permissions on
this public folder also.  I am a little baffled.. do you have any other
ideas?  It's one of those little things that you spend lots of time on and
you don't get an easy answer.

the stuff on the properties sheet has nothing to do with it.  try this: if
it's in public folder favorites, right click on it and choose add to other
calendar.
