Outlook provide several methods to display a contact: [company],[surname],[first name] etc, but when using using 'select names' to add a contact to an email recipient list, the contact view and sort order is always [first name] [last name]. Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories or address books>Next. Select the Outlook Address Book services, click Change, and set the sort order at the bottom or that dialogue.
