I had a recent Hard Drive crash.  I was able to pull data from this drive,
but I dont know where to find my Outlook2003 contact file.  Would like to
move to my newly reconstructed drive.  Can someone tell me what file hold
this information for each user?  I was using XP.

Look for a PST file on the old drive then open it using the File menu > Open
> Outlook Data file. Then copy data from that PST into your new one.

Hi, I deleted a Distribution list by accident from my contacts, where would I
find the deleted list? Thanks, Colm

Possibly in the Deleted Items folder of that PST

These questions just don't make sense together.  If you have access to an
item in order to delete it (and all items are stored in a PST), then you're
already referencing the PST in which it resided and where the Deleted Items
folder is.

I had a motherboard go down on me but the drives are fine (I think). I need
to find the file that contains my Contacts info in it on the old drive but
cannot figure out which file it is. I did a search for "PST" and nothing came
up. Is there a specific file that contains this information in text form?
Even if I had to manually copy it over it would be better than memory.

Thanks
Matt
