I started to make a distribution list.  When I clicked on "select members" -
in that window, many (if not most) of the names and emails saved in my
contacts - were NOT listed there.  Why was this? How can I change it?

I want to click "select Members" and find all of my contacts (whom have
email addresses) available to choose from.

Please help -

What was shown in the "Show names from" drop down in the upper right hand
corner?

Stupid question for you... is there more than one thing listed in that
dropdown?

No - it only has Contacts as the option
