I have recently had my cache of autocomplete names put from my laptop on to
my new desktop.  This has all been great as it is picking up all the names as
it did before on my laptop however it is no longer caching or saving any new
names that I have sent emails to.  The guy who did the upload of the nk2 file
says he doesn;t know what is causing this, can anyone help?

First thing to check is to see if the NK2 file is marked read-only in its
properties

Hi Vince

Thank you for your help so far.

I have checked in properties to see if the nk2 file was read only but the
box for read only is not ticked and there doesn;t seem to be any other way of
checking other than this.  Is there anything else you might kindly be able to
suggest?

Did you rename the NK2 file to match the current profile and put it in the
correct location?
