can you have multiple contacts (separate databases) in outlook?

how can I set up separate contacts databases so that I can synchronise my
contacts and my wife can synchronise hers without sharing those we don't need
to share???

It would probably be better to setup Outlook for her completely so she'll
have her own calendar, contacts, etc. What OS are you using & also which
version of Outlook are you using?

Thanks for your response. I considered this and have set her up her own log
on to Xp, but was hoping for a way around switching between users so that we
can just use one log on, and so on. It may be better though as you have
indicated, as this would allow for contacts, and calender to by synchronised,
and any shared information is easy sent to each other...
