Can Outlook insert a delay in the number called when making a phone call? i.e., dial a local number, delay 3 or 4 seconds then dial the rest of the number. That's a dialer issue, not an Outlook issue. Have you tried adding your modem's pause character to the dialing string? The typical character for a AT command set modem is the comma.
