Hi,

When my client prints his Contacts, the "file as" field doesn't show in the
printout. Is there a way to get the "file as" field to print?

Is the File As field showing in the view he's printing from?

Yes, it is showing, but it does not show in Print Preview and it does not
print. Are you able to print "file as"?

It works for me in a table-style view of the Contacts list in Outlook 2003.
What version of Outlook is your client using and what view of the Contacts
folder does he have applied?

He's using Outlook 2003, and the view is Address Cards. I see where it shows
up in the "table style" you mention.

Actually, I was getting the complaint 2nd-hand, from his AA, and now I've
got it clarified. She is opening the Contact, then printing from there, and
it doesn't show File As. I solved the problem by installing ScreenPrint32, a
utility that will print just the active window. In this case, the active
window is the open Contact, and as it shows and prints everything that can
be seen, including, of course, the File As field.

Thanks for your attention to this.
