Windows XP, 2003 Outlook.
Under Jon Doe Contacts I want
State Housing Contacts
IBM Contacts
No Name Contacts
Under the FBI Contacts I want
Names contacts
Bdays
Etc.
How do I accomplish this so that I can differentiate which are the
subfolders and which is the main folder. It used to be where the +/- sign
showed up. Thanks

If you create a subfolder, there will be a plus to the left of the parent
folder. Click New>Folder, specify the name you want it to have, the type of
items it should contain, and select the parent folder from the pane at the
bottom. Click OK.

The + sign does not always mean a sub-folder - are you sure you weren't
looking at a By Company view????
