Hi,

I had to backup the outlook data for a customer and did so by copying their
.pst file off. When importing the file into the freshly installed office,
everything works perfectly with the exception of the contacts simply missing.
I've managed to fix this before but simply have forgotten due to my inferior
memory.

I'm using Windows XP, Office 2003 on the system.

Please help me.

Open the backup PST using the File menu > Open > Outlook Data File command
then copy the data you want out of there into your main PST or mailbox
