I have been using Outlook 2003. I just reformatted and reinstalled th
O/S on my computer and reinstalled Outlook. Before the reformatting,
moved my outlook.pst and archive.pst folders from my computer t
another one. Now that I have my computer back up and running, I move
the folders back over to it, replacing the new folder created by th
reinstall. Now when I open Outlook, I don't have a Contacts folde
listed among the other items in my Personal Folder. I have a Contact
section in the Navigation Pane and it contains all my contacts, but
can't get a folder to appear in the Personal Folder section, thus
can't access my contacts from anywhere other than from the Navigatio
Pane. If any one can help, I'd really appreciate it

As a side note (not necessarily for this forum), I now show tw
Personal Folders, each one identical and each referencing the sam
outlook.pst file. I didn't know if it was safe to delete one of th
Personal Folders, because with both of them referencing the sam
outlook.pst file, I didn't know how Outlook would react

Thanks again for your help

You corrupted your profile when you attempted to overwrite your default .pst
file.

Create a new mail profile in Control Panel->Mail Icon and configure it to
use your correct .pst file.  Next time (and I hope it will be a long time)
use the information here to backup and restore your data:
